Adding 0.25mg/L hydrolyzed polyacrylamide to the primary wastewater sedimentation tank can increase the removal rates of suspended solids and BOD to 66% and 23%, respectively; Adding 0.3mg/L anionic polyacrylamide to the secondary wastewater treatment sedimentation tank can increase the removal rates of suspended solids and BOD to 87% and 91%, respectively, while the phosphorus removal efficiency increases from 35% to 91%. In the treatment of drinking water and domestic wastewater, it is used for surface clarification, clarification of flushing wastewater, and adjustment of filtrate.

2. First, evenly sprinkle the powder into tap water and stir at a medium speed of 40-60 revolutions per minute to fully dissolve the polymer in the water before use.

3. During the experiment, 100ml of wastewater was taken, and 10% polyacrylamide solution was added with slow stirring. PAM solution was slowly added dropwise using a syringe, with 0.5ml each time. The appropriate dosage was determined based on the size of the generated alum flowers, the compactness of the flocs, the clarity of the supernatant, the settling rate, and the dosage.
